The Decatur County School System is pleased to share that we have officially earned Cognia® Systems Accreditation, a nationally recognized mark of quality for schools and districts. This accreditation is awarded by the Cognia Global Accreditation Commission after a rigorous process that includes both internal and external reviews.
This achievement reflects our system’s commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in teaching and learning, and ensuring that all students have access to engaging and equitable educational opportunities. It also affirms the hard work of our teachers, leaders, and staff, as well as the strong support of our community.
Accreditation is valid for a six-year term, and we will continue striving to meet and exceed the standards set forth by Cognia to best serve our students.
